One more question, I saw the orientation day presentation PowerPoint from pei tong 's website, saying there’s a program for parents on the first 3 days of school. Do u know what’s it about? Does it require all parents to attend? Where’s the venue? Tks.

Didn't manage to jot down everything on the power point slide(shown by the form teacher), pls help!

My girl is in Garnet P1! Although not in same class, below is the content I copied down from the power point slide FYI:

Day 1: pupil handbook (will be given in Jan), Homework file, storybook, stationary (pencil case with 2 sharpened pencils, 1 blue pen, 1 eraser, 1 ruler and a sharpener, colour pencils), Math workbook 1A Part 1 & Par 2, Mother tongue workbook/ activity book 1A, 2 single line exercise books (for mental sums and spelling), Jotter book with lines, STELLAR handwriting 1

Day2: Pupil handbook, Homework file, Storybook, stationery, English file (blue), Math file (pink), Problem solving file (purple), Science file (green), mother tongue file (orange), social studies activity book, health education pupil's book, Report book

Instructions will be given to pupils on what to bring from Day 3 onwards

Note: Files, workbooks and activity books will be collected by respective subject teachers.

Pupils are to wear school uniforms for the 1st week of school (not physical education attire)

We didn't get our choice of school in phase 3 of the P1 registration exercise and have been offered a place at Hong Kah Primary, instead.
According to all polls, it's not a popular school, but I'd like to hear more than statistics. Are there any parents out there, with kids currently at the school, who can tell me what they think of the school?
