Do separately 2x - 3 < x + 3 and x + 3 < 5 then join together

Thanks for your response,

X < 2 and x< 6,

So what should be the answer,

Do we take x= 5, 4, 3.....

Or x = 1, 0 .... Or

And why, thks

X = 1, 0 -1, ...
Because the answer is in the range that satisfies both x
Ans key actually shows x= 2, 1 .... Thks

Pls help with this question thanks:

Mrs Chia baked some cookies. She gave 1/4 of it to her neighbour and kept 3/8 of it for her family. She gave the remaining cookies to the pupils in her remedial class. Each pupil received 1/24 of the cookies she baked. How many pupils are there in her remedial class?
Remaining cookies --> 8/8 - 2/8 - 3/8=3/8

? Of pupils--> 3/8 divide 1/24
= 3/8 x 24= 9

Please help me on the following question. TIA!

Adam has $140 and his brother has $80. How much money must Adam give his brother so that Adam will have $10more than his brother?
At first
A--> 60 more

60 -10=50

50/2=25

Alternatively, make use of before n after unchanged total concept

Total -->80+140=220

After
A--> 1u+10
B-->1u

2u-->220-10=210
1u-->105

105-80=25(before n after b has)

Ahmad gave 3/5 of his stamps to his brother and had 880 less than him. His brother Rahman gave 1/5 of his stamps to Nurul, and she had 250 more than Rahman. If Nurul had 862 stamps at first, how many stamps did all of them had together?

Someone help me with above, i am stuck.thks

A--> gave (3u) brother, left 2u b 2u+880

B --> gave (1p) Nurul, left 4p. Nurul 4p+250

Nurul : 1p+862 --> 4p+250
3p --> 612
1p-->204

5p --> 1020

2u + 880--> 1020
2u--> 140
