ngbrdad:I think there would be some boys who want to move to other JC such as RJC or hwachong after O-level. ^^Whatever info I have is from their site and GE briefing at Jan this year.jtoh:Oh I see. Why would they have a GEP class in the O level section? I would assume that all the GE boys would want to go IP.
I remember reading sometime ago that ACSI would be doing away with its SBGE programme leading up to the O levels. Have they started doing away with it?
But it make sense for them to put the GE boys in the IP section.

RE: 2011 PSLE Discussions and Strategy
iHopeful:
My DS scored 252. He hopes to get into ACSi's IB program. We already selected through the internet. The moment the school code was entered, \"ACS I - O level Program\" was the return with ACSI in the list of schools selected . I am wondering if that means that the system has allowed him to apply for the O level track only. Can anyone that has a higher score (say 255 and above) share if you have a return of \" ACS I - IB Program\" if you have selected ACSi as one of your 6 choices? Thanks.
I found this from MOE

[For information, Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), which is currently offering both IP and ‘O’ Level Programme, does not offer pupils the option to select the programmes as the admission to the programmes is decided by the school.] -
RE: DSA 2011
Hi, Everyone!
I am a mother of P6 and my son got a CO from NUSH this year thanks to the information you have posted here.
Sorry to say this.
This thread is about DSA as far as I know.
but lately it’s very difficult to find comments about DSA.
I know all DSA things are over now.
I learned so many things about DSA from here and got a big help.
I really appricate it to all of you.
And,
I want to pass what I learned from here on to someone who really needs that.
I believe that it will be a big help to them.
But these days I wonder how they can find past information about DSA from here.
We can make other threads to talk about something not about DSA not for us, for them.
I want to say this politely but my English is not so good. Sorry.
Please understand me if all of you were offended by my comment.
And thank you again for your big help. ^^ -

Any of the NUS high campers managed to make payment? Does anyone has\" Yes\" to camp fees made without paying yet?
I just made my payment, using credit card, but my payment status is indicated as \"NO\". Try to do further payment, the next screen say already paid.
Will check the online status again tomorrow to find out whether the payment status change to \"YES\", if not, going to call NUSHS on Monday.
I also had the same problem. but a few hours later the payment status changed to \"YES\" *^^* -
RE: Kimchi & Korean snacks
Hello, everyone! I am a Korean housewife who has been living in Singapore for 5yrs. I’ve just found this thread and wanted to give you some tips about Korean food. Many people like Ddeokbokki but it’s too spicy to eat. In Korea we add some tomato ketchup in it for our little kids. Not that spicy but sweet.
Poppy 15, You have to go to ‘Square 2’ to buy the rice cake. ^^
L-earner, your Kimchi is amazing! I also want to try your Kimchi. ^^
