I dont know how whether he teaches at jurong, I used to go to tb or toapayoh but do call and check, Mr wong does make his class interesting for kids, takes the boredom away frm maths. Oh dear Ive got nothing but praises for him and my kid is not with Krtc cos of his timing.

My child was with Mr Wong last year. No doubt, he thoroughly enjoyed his class. only until towards the end of the course, I found out the real reason why he liked to attend his class so much. The tutor will actually send the students out to another room to play Wii. I don't understand how the teacher do his teaching with the kids taking turn to disappear from his class to go out to play game. Well, my child in the end did not do well. I guess partly it was my thought that I did not check, only knowing that he enjoyed going to his class and thought it was okay.
I also heard that, he has many students under him but the percentage of A* is really not that high. Perhaps too much fun.

my DS1 is K1 now. He was at I can read since last year June and attendign TCS level. it was going to finish the 3 terms. I am so worry that he did not pass on his promotion assessment just last 2 weeks, so he can't be promoted to preliminary even. I was wondering if TCS, taking up 4-5 terms, premilinary another few terms...how long he can start on the actual ICR programme.


My worry is he has speech and language difficuties when pronouns 'S, F, H..\" .

should i bring him to see consultant? any consultant / therapy can recommend?

My youngest child is also having a similar problem in pronouncing the \"S\" and \"SH\" sound.
I took her to a speech therapist for about 15 sessions with little improvement. I understand that speech therapy is a long term treatment.
My friend who is also a speech therapist advised me to practice it at home with her instead paying so much money to send her to a private practice.
She also told me that it may be of concerned but some kids only develop those sounds at 6.

I am new here. There are so many clubs in Kiasu Parents, not sure which one to join.

But I guess I will start off here as I am SAHM with 3 children.
