without a maths, doing h2 maths is a HUGE challenge. But if sajc has h1 maths with h2 chem/bio/econs, it's still ok, I guess. Best to check if the jc has that combi.

Hi my son may be dropping Amaths. He is currently Sec4.

i was wondering, if my son drop amaths, how will it affect his chances of going JC?
he also currently takes Economics in Sec Sch.
however he does not have any bonus points(CCA and HMT).

So i wanna know,
if he scores 9points for olvls in 2010,
can he still go to a JC like SAJC?

i understand tt JC students must take 3 H2 Subjects, and the most popular combination seems to be H2 Chem Bio/Phy and Maths.

will it be a good option for my son to choose H2 Chem Bio Econs?

oh btw he takes pure chem and bio in sec4 this yr.
