tatz hw i felt last time when i was working. i cried and becm very depressed and took it out on my hb, frends and family. till my hb told me 1 day, if i work until so chiam, then pls quit my job and dun be so selfish to torture my loved ones ard me.

i was becoming such an evil monster! so i took leave and stayed home with my boy,immed my stress level went down and i knew it was time to quit.

last time, my boy when playing with me will accidentally call me 'auntie' (the term he use to address my maid). i was very sad at that time. nw after spending 4mths with him,i overheard him accidentally call my maid 'mummy'! i smiled to myself secretly.. :rahrah:

but then, u have twins n expenses gonna be high since evthg is x2. and yes, u do need ur hb full support cos if resents u staying home then will cause alot of unpleasant feelings in future.

im quite new sahm since feb this yr.
i have a K1 boy and expecting #2 end of aug also boy.

nw feeling guilty towards #1 cos always tired since im preggy and hence no energy to play with him. even if i do bring him out, i gotta sit down most times and let him play by himself. i feel sorry for him and told him so. but he is so sweet, tells me itz ok, he can play alone.

the bond we built with our kids is immeasurable, even tho i do have my
hair tearing moments.

i registered in this forum awhile back but din have the time to fully explore it cos i was FTWM.

i have a 5yo boy and am expecting #2 end of aug also a boy!

i quit my job to be SAHM cos i was so tired of working non stop and missing out on my 1st born's childhood.

so now i have loads of time to surf the website (till #2 pops out).

im learning how to be abit mre kiasu, cos im so laidback and bochap that a preschool principal actually asked me if i m a local!

anyhow, i dun wanna stress my kids..just wanna keep abreast of parenting issues here.

well, smtime back i asked my then 4yo where do eggs come frm(his sch teaching him rooster and hen in chinese).

another time, i was reading a story abt animals and their habitat. i told him ‘rabbits live in burrows under the ground.’

he said,‘no mummy! rabbits live in cages!’

can i continue to try my luck again at the same school of choice? or do i have to apply at a new school altogether?

side track abit…if under 2C ballot still cannot get a place,then what shd be the next step?

i was a working mum till recently so altho i knew abt this website,i seldom have the time to explore it.

so now when i did, i realised hw informative and helpful all the parents are…even tho it does make me very gan keong just browsing thru the topics heading only.

i rented out my place which is <1km to the sch of my choice. im staying with my MIL now and my IC reflects the new address.

Am i still able to register under 2C if i can show the title deed of my own place? is there such thg?

how neccessary is it to join the sch’s alumni? i mean registering between phase 2A and 2A1,will there be a huge difference in the no. of chances?
