My boy in p1. There was no such test before placement.

I went to star tots at haig rd to look see for my 25mo boy.

To make a long story short…the last straw was when I heard the teacher say to one of the kids "come, let me open the banana for you to eat".

The basic language skills is just not there…

I met the boss once at PP. Out of desperation cos i miss their food so much, I actually approached him to ask him where/when he gonna open his stall again.

Is it sch holiday tmr because of teacher’s day?

I thought the neuromath is just any other enrichment program rt? So you enrolled your child? Maybe can provide some feedback after the program. Might consider next time....among 3 subjects, my boys get the lowest for Maths ... Haaa ...irony because his daddy always get A .....

The only diff i feel for enrichment classes are class size. The one tt he has outside now, there are only 4-5 students per teacher. So he gets more attention and the teacher can spend more time explaining to him the q he dun understd. The worksheets he goes thru is also tailored accordingly to his weakness in certain topics.

The one in sch by neuromath, the class size is upto 18, according to the info in the consent form. To me, sending him to pte tuition is for tt one to one time with the tutors so he can improve on his weaker area. So if the class size is too big till he just goes with the flow of the majority, then it defeats the purpose.

Aw,i did sign him up to try. I googled neuromath and seems not too bad. This starts in term 3 every wed after sch. I will gv my feedback here.

Is neuromath enrichment by the sch for selected pupils?

:sad: Im facing the same issue with my ds in 1Tenacity. Im oso doing mostly wat u guys r doing to cope.

He wakes at 6.20am and we leave the hse latest by 7am. It takes 20mins to drv to sch depending on the traffic. Tho i stay relatively near but morning rush hr is a killer. Its difficult to make him eat a complete bfast once he wakes cos normally, just awake will not hv much appetite even for adults. Smtimes he takes cereal with milo or bread or a pc of cake. But qty is v little to last him till recess. Smtimes he really no appetite so he will eat in the car or drink a packet of milo in the car.

These past wk, he told me he eats 2bowls of noodles during recess, so i gotta gv him extra $$. Evday he tells me v hungry when i pick him up. He has his lunch abt 2.30-3pm. At first i insisted he bath then eat, but i see him so hungry so chg to eat first then bath.

He oso lost abt 1kg. Now all skin and bones.

I oso dun understand y sch ends so late. Cos when i drv pass chij and haig girls, tkps, all the children alrdy left sch liao. I reckon their sch ends abt 1 or 1.15pm.

Nw he is able to zzz early by 8pm cos not much hw. Imagine, for a 7yo, by dinnertime, they will be awke for more than 12hrs liao without a nap. I oso cant tahan. Wanna bring him for tuition oso heartpain.
