kid bullies happen everywhere. What I'm more concerned regarding the dubious intent of the school in trying to hush the victim.

If the same team of leaders continue, BTPS may regain the glamour of its good old days. The student cohort is generally good as the catchment is in Bukit Timah

SMPS is the single most overlooked affiliated school with cut off 242 for secondary, and chances for SC>2km and sometimes even all PR get in!

IMHO Affiliation is the single most overrated attribute that people focus on.

Yes, it’s beneficial and a BFD for schools like CHS or SNGS where you get to qualify for a top secondary with slightly lower score. However, for many others, it’s meaningless. To put it differently, if you have scored 245, would you have applied for a school with COP 200 and see it as a great move?

Agreed with Floppy. To add on to that, SMPS and SMSS are located so far apart. chances is if u are close to one, u are far from the other.

Till date for 2020 registration: 57 applicants for 97 vacancies. Thus, distance breakdown is irrelevant at this point. I highly doubt that the school will be filled by Phase 2C this year.

There was a ballot for SC in dragon year even though the move to temporary site is announced. I am really curious to see how things turn out this year since the number of births (in particular, baby girls) are similar

There’s no balloting last year properly because of the lower birth rate. Ballot for dragon children so do expect a ballot for horsey as birth rates are similar to dragon year but seat numbers smaller
