      Thanks for pointing this out to me.

      Thanks bb_mom, for your prompt reply! But it’s this part that I don’t understand. Why is it that:

      Fraction of Jason’s stamps same as Alex -> 1/4 = 2/8
      Fraction of Alex’s stamps same as Jason -> 2/5
      Jason has 8 units
      Alex has 5 units

      Thanks again. How do we draw the model?

      Hi, appreciate if someone can help here. It’s last year Raffles Girls’s paper.

      Jason and Alex are stamp collectors. 1/4 of Jason’s number of stamps is the same as 2/5 of Alex’s number of stamps. If Jason has 108 more stamps than Alex,
      A. How many stamps does Alex have?
      B. How many stamps must Jason give Alex for both of them to have an equal number of stamps?

      Thanks!

      Thanks Lexmark.

      What should I explain to my son on why we split Ryan into 15 parts?
      That 15 is a multiple of 3 and 5?

      Hi, can someone advise on the following question.?

      Ken has 2/3 as many stamps as Sam. Sam has 4/5 as many stamps as Ryan.
      If the boys has 210 stamps altogether, how many stamps does Sam have?

      Please advise on the model drawing.

      35u=210
      1u=210 / 35
      1u=6
      Sam: 12u=12 X 6 = 72

      Hi need help on the following:

      Debbie had twice as many dolls as Eileen and thrice as many dolls as Fion.
      Given that they had 77 dolls altogether, how many more dolls did Debbie have than Fion?

      Hi parents, just received a letter from my boy’s teacher that he has not done the STAR reading.

      We just log in successfully but it requested for a monitor password. May I know what is that? We tried his ID but it didn’t work. Thanks!
