You are right Lee_yl, its Teochew. I bought fresh threadfin or garoupa from the regular fishmonger in the market. I think he can't tell too? Maybe jetsetter you are right. Fish is too old & muscular. My grandma used to say that the fish Lou gou because it hit on the rock. :scratchhead:
