Anyone knows wat is the profile of the new principal, background?


Wat was the tscore in 2014? how many repeat student overall?

I really like to believe this statement by MOE as I hope that our govt maps policies for the best interest of it’s people. However, I am still confused why are many parents saying, yet doing another thing. What are your views on my below encounters?


A friendly PRC neighbor, the dad a new citizen, mother a PR but no intention to convert to citizen, as she shared that one need a "backed up" , at least one of them could go back to china if anything happens. The dad a research scientist has been serving in our zone RC as a grassroots leader for a few yrs and I can see that he is sincere and passionate abt serving. Both of their children are born in spore and are Sporeans. They are attending one of Spore`s top popular church kiddy. The dad told us before that all pri schools in spore are good schools. But then in Feb this yr, their whole family rented out their "owned" 4roomed flat and instead rented a 3roomed flat in another avenue. Their daughter got into our neighborhood’s popular top pri school in this yr Jul registration. Finally they told us that the reason they moved out n rented out their 4room flat to squeeze into a rented 3room is to increase the chances of getting into the popular pri school within 1km of their current rented flat. As a grassroots leader he is still not confident of getting into this pri school so they shifted to increase their chances. What do you think?

Another neighbor told me that most of his friends who are big bosses now all came from humble pri schools. And he added that all schools are the same, it depends solely on the child himself. But this same neighbor is applying to be PV of the same popular pri sch in our district. He said that regardless of what he shared, for his own child he wants the best for him. What do you think of this 2nd neighbour?

Hi parents whose kids alr in PHPP,


Juz need more reliable sources to clarify if the rumour is true, as I plan to register my child here next yr. Someone’s friend friend who koes a sch gardener who worked in PHPP previously told that someone’s friend that the discipline in PHPP is bad, and there are ‘gangsters’ in the upper pri. Why would a sch gardener who worked in PHPP for a number of yrs commented this? It is quite worrying. But I still believe that PHPP is a gd sch, their PSLE results is the evidence.

Juz like to have another side of the story regarding this rumour, current parents whose kids attend PHPP, how true is the discipline part and what’s your opinion?

I do not have good impression on safari house at dover. I visited once, quite pleased initially wif the environment. Then 3 weeks later when my child turned 18mths, I called up wanting to go n make payment n deposit. The original admin lady I think her name is irene or ivy, told me she no longer worked in dover branch as she was being posted to another branch. So I called up safari house at dover again, the new admin lady reverted me to irene, she said irene will attend to me.

Like a ball, I was bounced back to irene, but she insisted that I should contact the new admin at dover logically since she no longer worked at dover branch. So when I told her that the new admin told me to look back for her, irene back mouthed the new admin lady n asked me, as a parent, do I want to sign up my child in such a cc, with such irresponsible staff. She said, if the admin is like that then teachers worst. When i heard that, who dare to register your child? 
I have the money on hand and ready but no one wanted to process registration for me.
when I asked who is the principal of the cc, irene or ivy refused to divert.
I feel that it is not right for her as a staff to bad mouth your colleague n centre. Bad impression of the service, who dares to put your child there.

During lunch, my gal will try to feed herself but most of the food will be all over the floor, so actually her tummy was not full n the teachers did not feed her to ensure that she did ate enough. This happened for the other kids too I observed.

Environment n facilities is good, but teacher to student ratio still high for the fees we paid, we of coz hope smaller size.

I feel that it is not the centre, it depends on the teachers.

Dear existing parents of children in clementi pri, any feedback abt this sch?

How is their psle passing rate? Are there a lot of pupils of other races?
Any ballot required for phase 2C?
Between clementi pri and pei tong pri, which will u consider and why?

Insider news is the past few yrs psle results, majority of the P6 students gotten into normal (tech). Most of the pupils are weak in maths, due to weak foundation during P1 & 2, as i heard that most teachers in P1n 2 not experience n too laid back.

of coz there are also very bright students in the best clasd, but reason why psle results so bad is becoz those very bright students are transferred to GEP schs after P3.
