Is it ok if my child interprets the pic of the boy as a man? -

This year (2020),
if the Maths paper is easy
- won't be 91, can get A*
- but also won't be 99 so high, then can get A*
Total, how many marks did student \"astudentwhoanswersqn\" lose ?
He lost 4+2, equal 6 marks.
Means his Raw score is 94, upon 100
After adjustment with rest of the cohort (several thousands of Psle students), is possible that he can still get an A* for Maths
So do you mean the grade for each subject is already banded based on T score calculated for that subject? I had the impression that it was based on raw score. -

Yes, personal traits will make a difference. Of course, there are parents who feel that getting a child to follow a course that will make him push his boundaries more is a good thing - that is a personal choice.Tookies\" post_id=\"1994311\" time=\"1599547222\" user_id=\"124548:
Should a child’s character be considered when we are choosing IP leading to A level or IB? Like the kind good In handling exams or the kind that prefers more project works?
From what I have seen (my 2 kids did A levels, but several of their church friends and my friends' kids did IB), IB requires more independant study and exploration, and more consistent work because of the graded assignments. Some kids do better with that, while others prefer to have a \"big bang\" at the end. Some kids prefer to have the option to take a wider spread of subjects and also don't mind writing more essays (IB), while others want to focus on fewer subjects and may want to avoid essays as much as possible (Science stream A levels).
That said, it makes the most difference for kids whose traits are a little more marked. For most kids, I don't think it makes all that much of a difference as they can be trained to cope reasonably well with either set of requirements. But if there's a choice, then it's worth considering which might suit better. -

From this article, schools are encouraged to implement study break, length of break to be decided by school. I guess we have to wait for our own school’s announcement.
Is it official that 3 days before PSLE there is no class in school?
That means 28-30 Sep no school?

Past year schools test papers. Or assessment books like Daily Dose of Math has combination questions similar to paper1.
May i know any books to recommend to keep practicing for Maths paper 1. Most books focus on Paper 2.
Ds always have mistakes on Paper 1
1. Careless mistakes. Questions that you tell him to relook again and immediately he knows where he gone wrong.
2. Mistakes that you give a little prompt and immediately he knows how to do.
How to improve. I know it is important to score good marks in Paper 1
Just to share, my DS behaves the same and he doesn’t check his work. Only during exam time, then he will double check. He just can’t slow down no matter how I nagged. So what I do is that I give him 1hr to finish paper 1, and he will usually finished in 30-40mins, then I give it back to him and ask him to check through 1 round before giving it to me for marking. It kinds of help him practise the routine of checking upon completion since he thinks he is careful while doing the question. -

Helpful parents thanks for responding!! After reading your responses. I rechecked the paper. Seems that the paper was scaled down when printed. Phew! I was wondering what happened to my rulers, so the problem was my eyesight!
Thanks once again! -

Hi, has anyone’s child encountered using Ruler to message the length of a triangle in math qn E.g 4.5cm and the measurement is quite far off from answer key ie 4.9cm? I have tried a couple of rulers and obtained the same measurement 4.5cm measurement.
