This is fast. We are now waiting for CASE to step in. Parents should be given a choice - continue with e-learning (at a cheaper fee) or stop attending for the time being till regular tuition classes resume (without penalty).

Did you realise a few classes are combined into 1 and there are more students for online classes? Teachers are also different, not the same as regular class teacher. It happened to both my eldest and second child lessons.


WOW is obviously cutting cost for online learning but still charging parents the same fee. No discount for e-learning at all. I already feedback but was turned to deaf ears.

Waiting for some parents to start the petition, similar to TLL and Berries. At least TLL still offer 25% discount but WOW is 0. How can they make parents pay the same fee for online classes? If I want online writing classes, I would have signed up with others that offer at $100 per month.

This year, with tuition classes, inter-school competition and SYF all suspended or cancelled, it somewhat level the playing field. 100% entering by Tscore is probably the best.

The way Secondary schools conduct DSA interview for short listed candidates, need to be altered this year too

Last year,
one big bunch of P6 students grouped together, awaited outside the interview room, for their turn or name to be called out, interview conducted either one by one, face to face with DSA interview panel, or conducted in small groups of 3 or 4 students concurrently, per group

Maybe this year can try do away with DSA. Everyone enter using tscore.

Straight As with Edusave scholarship award for TOP 10% of the cohort will be more beneficial.

There are normally 8-9 students in my eldest son’s regular class. E-learning class suddenly become almost 20 students! Paying the same fee and so many more students? This is really unacceptable!


Tuition centres can really do what they like because there is no watchdog?

It is really sad that we can’t do anything and can only give in.

It’s about time for Straits Times, Xin Ming and Wan Bao to blow it big! Make those tuition centres “famous” overnight.

Any idea what the other centres are doing in this time?

My eldest child is with HCL. We are given the option to opt out or join e-learning at 50% of regular tuition fee.

2nd and 3rd children with WLC. Was told 2 free lessons will be given in May so is this the same as 50% discount?
