For cca selection, form teachers will give out forms for u to fill. Jus state the Cca u wish to join n sign on it.

Just want to know anyone got child in sport class ? Interested to know whether it will affect their studies

When my ds1 was p2, 2 yrs bk, his form teacher had a daughter, same level as my ds1.

2 months bk, I met her, she said she regretted putting her dd1 in sports class. Cos it had greatly affected her studies, from 1st in class in p2 to no top 5 now.

Anyway, it's up to one's ability to cope. I was jus citing an example.

Actually the maths remedial class, all p3 and above had to attend, regardless of their results. I talked to one of teachers. She said it is because many parents complain that their kids shd have more remedial class, so that their kids dun hav to go tuition, n comparing wif nanyang primary sch.


My boy told me, all students had been segregated into 3 categories. High, medium and low competency, so that the teachers knew how to target slower kids.

N hereby, I wish to express my greatest gratitude to 2 very kind mummies here, Ilovechubby and callie. One who had helped me to search for exam papers and even photostat for me. Another oso wanted to help me ask her kid’s classmate for the papers. At first, I felt so helpless and lost. Then I try my luck here. Thank god. Many kind people in this forum. I got 2 boys. One is p1 and the other p4. My p1 boys is v slow, he is having learning disability cos of dylexia. Tats y I need kind soul here for p2 2012 exam papers. My p4 boy is doing well for all his subjects so had no worries. So hope parents here can help wif 2012 p2 papers.

For maths Olympiad, it’s voluntarily and you need to pay for the course. As for competition, my boy did not participate any. If I m not wrong, u can participate on yr own. And I do not tink there’s any benefits to enter sec sch. But if you do win in any competition, you could get it recorded in their report book. I let me boy take maths Olympiad is because he is gd in matha n had great interest. N I felt that it did help him in his academic maths, makes him understand and do qn faster. He scored mostly 95 or above and this ca2 a perfect 100.

I hope to get 2012 pei chun Modular Assessment Paper(ma1, ma2, ma3) for all the 3 subjects, English, Chinese and maths.
