lala81:I agree with lala81. The teacher in PR speak good english, expecially the teacher from \"Perform@Junoir\". They also have very positive mind for the children. Their strength is speech and drama. I attended their concert last friday. All the children performed very good. My son just joined 2 months. He looked very happy to school everyday.Dear 2littlekids,
i have enrolled my gal in PR and she will start her nursery from aug2010.
I have read good comments on this sch and went down to the sch twice.
From what i understand, some teachers are from another childcare \"Perform@Junoir\"
I met up with the teachers and i am told that there is a lot of emphasis on speech and drama. Lessons are thematic based approach. What i like about this sch is that they encourage their students to speak up. I went to the sch during lesson time and noticed that the students there are very confident and very inquistive.
One very good pt is that the teachers speak good english.
I agree that the premise look abit run down but the hygiene level is still ok. They have a specific dining area, which some childcare do not have.
I have received a list of what to bring during 1st day of sch and insect repellent is in the list..so i suppose we have to provide our own.
During my two visits, i find the environment very positive(as in the kids looks happy and having fun). I do hope that my daughter can turn out like one of them

My gal also in liftoff program. when he start the program
I have a 2004 boy too in Liftoff program. What program is your child in? My boy enjoys his class a lot. He's now progessing to reading passages & answering the questions on the passage. one thing i like also is the spelling ... now, his spelling is more on sight words and he's so determined to get all words right n earn his stars. they also emphasized on penmanship...which is gd cos my son's handwriting is arrrrrggghhhh.....but he's improving slowly on that.TUANG:
hi Titank
My gal was born in 2004. She is going to P1 next year. So I'm quite worry about her English.
I belive that the teacher is very important. So after trial class our child will know whether they comfortable with the teacher ? -

Hi TitankHi Tuang,
So far how you find the foundation program from LCentral? I hope the child would be able to decode reading the word while learn the phonics.
I wonder are they using montessori phonics, spalding phonics or zoo phonics in their course content?
Seem like the reading program now in the market is getting more & more confused now.
I also don't know what kind of method they are using. That's why I need 3 times trial classes for my gals! She will attend first lesson on this coming friday! -

Does anybody have any good preschool to recommend in Woodlands area?
My 3yr old boy has been attending Kinderland @ Woodlands since January. Until today, he is still crying and refusing to go to school. Reason is that he does not like the kids there (he was bitten by other kids before). Someone told me it could be the teacher's problem, because they are not giving enough attention to prevent such things from happening.
Now, I'm thinking of switching school, but don't know which school is good in Woodlands area. Any recommendations?
I just enrolled my son to Phyllis' riccia school at 49 woodgrove Ave.
Recently there are three teacher join in the childcare who are my son previous school teacher. My son like to attend their class very much  . They incluses lot of fun activities & games in classed to help the student learn the concepts taught. Pls review thier wedsite.
