in addition to the required documents as stated in the notification email?

NUSH states in FAQs (Question 4) that the shortlisted applicants would need to bring
portfolio, photocopies of P4, P5, P6 SA1 school results on 20/7.

Maybe the school does not state this requirement in the notification email as

1J2Ms I am in an exactly same situation as you. My DS is also a normal mainstream boy doing HMT and we applied for RI DSA as well as CHS and HCI he applied via maths domain.

HCI sms the rejection as well as emailed the reject.

DS went for RI selection test and CHS selection interview so now is just waiting for next steps.

Ya we just tried since can choose 3 schools and didn’t know the criteria HCI was looking for initially.
No gold or platinum awards in DS case too. Only gold was for SASMO since P3, but got silver in NMOS , certificate of distinction for RIPMWC and silver for APMOPS.
However I feel it’s already a great achievement for him since he did not go through any sort of trainings and is from mainstream normal school.

are very helpful for present P5 students who intend to apply to these few SAP schools via
DSA 2020.

Yes, those awards can be considered as great achievements for your DS.

DSA process is an eye-opening experience, children may learn various skills during the process
e.g. decision making skill, interview skill, problem solving skill and etc.

The process is one of the most nerve-racking things for most 12 years old children, but they learn
to be resilient.
