Q3: There are blue, red and pink balls in a box, 40% of the balls are blue. The number of blue balls is 20 more than the number of pink balls. There are 50 red balls.
What is the number of pink balls in the box?

[blue][pink][red] -->[40%][40% - 20][50]

20% of balls --> 50 - 20 = 30

number of pink balls --> 2 x 30 - 20 = 40

Q1. Mr Lee baked 185 more chicken pies than tuna pies. After selling 3/5 of the chicken pies and half of the tuna pies, he had 146 pies left. How many pies did he sell?

How to make 4U & 6U ?

We have a female current school teacher, charging $50/ per hour! Initially, quite happy but a couple of times she could not solve my son school P6 Maths!


She pictured it, some came back with solution but some by pass! And she told my son \"self help\"!

Luckily, my son classmate can solve and gotten help from classmate!

I am thinking, PSLE exam is 2 months ahead, how to change tutor! Thought that school teacher is the best but whose know we just bad luck!

So don't waste so much money on so called \"NIE trained\" tutor!

1) Jane had a bottle of syrup. She used an equal amount of syrup each day. At the end of the 12th day, 1/3 of the bottle was left. At the end of the 14th days, the amount of syrup left was 200ml. What was the amount of syrup in the bottle at first.

2) There were a total of 60 pen and pencils in a box. There were 4 times as many pens as pencils. After 18 pen and some pencils were removed, there were 3 times as many pen as pencils left. How many pencils were removed from the box?

Pete had 3 boxes of marbles. He transferred 1/5 of the marbles from Box A to Box B. Then he transferred 1/4 of the marbles from Box B to Box C. Finally, he transferred 1/2 of the marbles from Box C to Box A. As a result, there were 134 marbles in Box A, 69 marbles in Box B and 50 marbles in Box C.
What was the total number of marbles in Box A and Box C at first?
