I will like to warn the family who took our previous maid as transfer maid with effect from 9 March 2016. Her name is maricar. Maricar requested to transfer at the end of her two year contract and we gladly allowed her to as we also planned to change maid as we do not think she is suitable to take care of kids. To our horror, two days after we transferred, we found her room infested with bed bugs, one corner whic has our clothes has bed bugs and bed bugs eggs. We also found bed bugs in maricar pillow, bed, mattress and even the curtain in her room! We do not want the new employer to suffer and hence, thought we send this message to warn the new employer. Beware!

I just returned from Tokyo on Monday. Was in hotel room with my kids 4 and 6 when I experienced the tremours from ,my 27th floor room. Luckily, the hotel sent an announcement that the hotel is structurally very safe and to stay in room. Cos I panicked, hubby was out buying dinner, lifts are not working, how to run down stairs with 2 babies? Scary experience…


Another than that, my whole family love Japan…everything was so nice and fun…sigh…

I like to go to Fuji q highland just for Thomas with my two children, aged 4 and 6 and hubby. After that, to take buses to gotemba premium outlet followed by Hakone at gora station. Is this doable in 1 day?

Or shall I go Hakone first and gotemba premium outlet and next day then go to Fuji q higland followed by trip back to shinjuku?

Or shall I go to fuji q highland to and fro shinjuku and next day from shinjuku to Hakone?

Been very stressed as I can’t make up my mind about which route is the best.

My maid's work permit expiring on 31 Mar. But my new maid coming in only in 3rd week of Mar. Meanwhile, we gave 2 days off to my current maid in Feb to go for interviews and she wanted me to sign the consent form for transfer today as MOM requires 30 days before expiry for change of employer and MOM advise that the transfer will take place within a week! We didn't expect this timeline or we would have looked for a new maid earlier or may not even agree to let her transfer in the first place...

Anyone has experience negotiating with current maid's new employer ad agency on having her new permit applied only a week before my new maid comes?
