Thank you, Chief!
Chongzheng has been balloting <1km for Phase 2C in the last 3 years, although the takeup rate in Phase 2A is only 68% this year compared to last year's 122%. I still think it will be a stretch for you to consider chongzheng this year in Phase 2C. I think you should try balloting in Poi Ching in Phase 2C since you are so near it. At least it is possible.
Poi Ching does balloting for those <1km too and it seems like phase 2C is always oversubscribed too 😩 -

Hi fellow parents,
We’ve recently moved to Tampines and would love to hear your thoughts and reviews of some preschools. Appreciate it as we will be switching preschool for our child, who will be in K2, next year. Her current school will be shutting down at the end of this year.
- ELFA Preschool (866A Tampines St 83)
- Aspiration C.C. (871 Tampines St 84)
- Little Seeds Preschool (727 Tampines St 71)
- Little Green House (707 Tampines St 71)
- Pentecost Methodist Church Kindergarten (4 Pasir Ris Dr 6)
Thank you for your time!
Hi,
For those living around Pasir Ris / Tampines and are looking for religious preschool, we ended up joining Pentecost Methodist Church Kindergarten (PMCK) and my child loves it (and so do I).
We opted for the morning session + Extended Program (8.15am to 1.15pm).
Teachers are really great, curriculum is fun and engaging. Principal is caring. School is organised and systematic. Activities are well thought of. I feel that my child is well prepared for primary school. PMCK uses Qoqolo for communication and also has a physical communication notebook with a health checklist for parents to put a tick in the checkbox before sending child to school. PMCK has their own in-house cook.
If you’re looking at PAP Sparkletots (Kindergarten), we’ve placed our other child at Blk 483 Tampines North. Teachers are really great and kind, principal is caring too. When we went to view the school, we could tell that the principal cares for her teachers too. PAP uses Little Family Room for communication. There’s an in-house cook, too.
The only down side is parking - the car park behind school is the loading bay. So you either park at the multi-storey car park and walk over, or park at the car park opposite and walk over. -

Hi everyone! Would like to seek your advice…
We are SC and live within 1km of Poi Ching and are unsure if we should skip applying for it through Phase 2C.
Are the chances very slim if we apply for Chong Zheng since we since we are outside of 2km?
Thank you!!! -
