RE: GEP 2014 - Class Starting P4 in 2015
Catniss:
So this means that they will continue from where the p3 of the gep school stops?
I asked one of the school during the talk. The science teacher reassured me that there will be bridging for those topics that were not covered in the previous school.wcc:
Does anyone know what topics will be covered for P4 GEP Science?
In P3, different schools teach different the science topics in the lower blocks in different sequence. Some topics taught in P3 in 1 school may only be covered in P4 in another school. Now that students from diff schools are joining the GEP schools, how do they know what each student has covered in P3? :? -

Hi,
Does anyone knows if HCL for GEP is the same as HCL for mainstream, both in terms of contents and difficulty level? -
RE: Mandeville Music School - Discussion
For baby class, if there’s no change, only 1 or 2 teachers are conducting the class, so u don’t really need to go and choose teachers, unlike one- to-one class.

RE: Mandeville Music School - Discussion
My kid has been with this school since 2.5 years old (4 years already), starting with baby music class. The senior teachers are usually highly demanded and their charges are also higher. However, they are mostly fully booked. Its quite difficult to get the senior teachers. The counters will usually recommend the newer teachers who still have slots. Weekends time slots are even harder to get. (But I think this happens in most schools too).

RE: Criteria for a Good Student Care Service (BASC)
I visited one BASC, with intention to place my kid there. My kid is in afternoon session. I noticed that the BASC settings is quite like a classroom, with students doing work at the desks. I was wondering if a kid goes there in the morning, sit at a desk in BASC (doing some work, most probably) till noon time, then proceed to school, continue to sit at a desk…will the kid be too exhausted by late afternoon, affecting her concentration in school? Any one has any comments to share?
