Seems like KCPPS is a little more popular than previous years based on past registrations. Good luck to all parents balloting for it and most likely we will see balloting required for p2c within 1 km. Exciting time ahead!!! :imcool:

That's because ATS and CHS are guaranteed to go to the ballots. Hence, risk averse parents are likely to choose KCPPS (which isn't a bad school) than end up in P2CS. There will be limited options and choices in P2CS.

Additional 20 places this year, so the odds for balloting ATS and CHS are better than previous years. Think there will be a lot of flip flops on the last day of registration. I am registering my son for KCPPS and stay within 1km. Hope no need to ballot...

Think they teach some phrases as well. You can request to see their toolbox materials. Personally, I don't think the toolbox is necessary if your kid is already attending the English class. Just from the number of classes being scheduled for the English class vs the Toolbox class should be indicative on the level of interest.

I've discussed this with another friend whose kid is attending it. Her dd is doing well in Eng, but main problem is, her dd is also attending a number of other enrichment classes such as S&D. Her DD also started with I can read since young. So we can't really tell if its due to MS.

I can't say which class he is attending else those in the know will know exactly which teachers I am inferring to. All I can say is I've a more positive experience in the TPY branch rather than the Bishan one. Please don't pm me regarding this, thanks!

I've moved my son from the Bishan branch to TPY (Braddell) earlier part of this year. In my humble opinion, the teachers in TPY are just as good, if not better than those in Bishan despite it not being the main branch. The admin staffs in TPY are definitely much better. Only problem now is we need to travel further to TPY as we stay in Bishan.

I think its alright for parents to register for Phase 2C, but it will revoke their previously confirmed placements upon registration. The revocation will still stand even if they choose to cancel the Phase 2C application before it closes. This will help deter frivolous registration.
