RI and Nush test date and timing are both in the morning so I'm quite confused as to why some of u mentioned that RI's timing may be in afternoon. Pls let me know if I have missed anything out 😅

      Dear phtthp,

May I check what it means by \"
If her son is being shortlisted for 6 July Saturday subject test, selectors will inform her (parent) which specific subject (is it maths or science) her son will be taking, that day. Applicants can only sit for one subject test, that day. \"

It means that RI will choose which subject they deem my son is suitable for and test his aptitude ?

🙏 Thank you for all your guidance.

We were not confident about dsa-ing through maths because we are up against the platinums and high distinction 😂 it's nerve wrecking

May I check if anyone has information on the science domain DSA to RI. And if there would be a written test ? Long story short, I received a curve ball from my child telling me that his passion lies in Science and not Mathematics. 😂 He has distinction in RIPMWC and silver in this SMOPS. And absolutely nothing except for his science results at school. Are we taking a long shot here?

    • RE: 2019 PSLE Discussions and Strategies (Children born in 2007)

I think alot of parents have the misconception that geppers should score at least 260… It really boils down to what type of paper it is. If the paper is like this year’s - moderate difficulty, there is a high chance of geppers making careless mistakes. In fact, alot of them have fast processing skills and end up being very careless. Expected 100 marks but ended up less not…Thusdepends on each individual’s attitude.

Mainstream students can score well for a moderate difficultu paper as well if they r careful and well prepared. The method to check is very important- for both geppers and main stream students.
