was wondering if u could share some info about this school since ur child is attending class there. My dd is coming to 20 mths now. izit too early to send her to daily school? or should i delay awhile more?

The school told me that there r 20 students in N1 class. Can the teachers manage well? Philipino english teacher looks rather young tough.
What r their time tables like? ( roughly). Do they have phonics n maths lesson in N1?

I've used \" I CAN Read\" chinese book on my dd when she was very young. < 12 mths old. She is now 18 mths n she understands all the chinese words in all 12 books! ....but too bad she can't say them all in chinese. She will translate all for me in english! :stupid: ...but at least she understands. she is now learning the 2nd series of 12 books. still enjoying it.

my dd is 18 mths n she knows most of the letters n some phonics sound. Must she knows the letters sequence 1st? I have yet to test her on that though. She learnt her phonics from leapfrog dvd but seems lost interest in it.

Malaysia's Popular is selling Odonata's books (eg 100 words etc) individually instead of in sets in Singapore. Per book is RM5.25 which i think is much cheaper than buy it in a set that cost >S$20.

thank you for taking time to share those in-sight info. really appreciate it. i'm glad to hear that the teachers r good. i oso realized that the children r split into groups...(since u mentioned that)...which i like.
btw, may i know what is the ratio for teachers n children in a class? think i forgot to ask them.

u r right that the principal is really helpful n friendly. my concern during the visit was : the children looked bored in class n the lesson sounded quite dull/dry. how is the teacher's quality? soft spoken during lesson?

wondering if u have any comments on this? tks again.
