My DS is in sec 1 too. My son had went for some auditions and interviews for the cca. Is the chances high to get into the first choice?

RE: 2015 Request for Advice on Selecting Secondary Schools
My DS scored 248+2. Putting RV as first but seem like COP will go up. Second choice BP. But he wants to appeal if he dont RV. Wondering if his chance of getting into RV is high? What other thins they see when we appeal.

RE: Princess Elizabeth Primary
Hi Yewniffler171
The school has any special class for those top scorer in the school? Some schools they do have that and these ‘gifted’ kids will be given more extra curriculum. -
RE: Princess Elizabeth Primary
The school is not within walking distance to my house and also I was working full time during his first two years so I am not able to bring him to and fro.
There’s no morning lesson for P1 and P2 during my DS time. -

Ya! Hope the teacher is good

RE: Princess Elizabeth Primary
My DD will be in class 1D next year and my DS will be in P3 next year. The school indeed focus a lot on holistic and train the kids to be all rounder rather than solely on academic.
Any DD or DS in 1D next year?

RE: Just Kids
My son will be in 1F.
As for Just kids, the childcare looks good but don’t quite like the student care. Too many students in a classroom. -
RE: Just Kids
Hi Trihok
My son will be in PEPS too. I have visited Just kids but feel that the kids stay in a confine classroom. Anyway I have registered my son at Pro- teach which is walking distance from my house. Will change him when he wants to join CCA. -
RE: Maid Vs Student Care
I'm a FTWM wo helper. Used to have a maid for 5 years but i think she changed over the years. Different man is waiting for her outside my house. She even borrowed money and these people come to house to collect every month. So i decided to send her back because she simply cannot oblige to my terms and condition to her.
Initially is really tough but now with good time management i feel that everything is going smoothly.
By the time i reach home is already 730pm. We will take our dinner and after which laundry, ironing (this is the time for my kids to catch some TV programme since in childcare they have no time for their favourite show). At 9pm. I'm done with all housework. 9-10pm i will do some revision with them. By 10pm, bed time and i make it compulsory to read to them.
When lights off, we will chit chat and joke until we fall asleep
I definitely will need to put my son in BASC cause no one to take care of him during the day. Another reason is because i don't want to further stress him when he's back from school in the evening. Morning is the best time to learn. So BASC is still my choice
