Experience TKGS! 2015

TKGS will be holding their Experience TKGS! 2015 22nd (Performing Arts) and 25th May (Sports) 2015, from 2.30 to 5.30pm. This by-invitation event is organised annually to provide prospective P6 pupils (and their parents) a first-hand experience of what our school has to offer in our CCA Programmes. Interested students can register at http://tinyurl.com/ExperienceTKG

On 22nd May, TKGS invites students with an interest and aptitude in the performing arts to spend an afternoon with the TKGS Band, Choir, Dance, String Ensemble, Drama Club and Literary and Debating Society.
On 25th May, TKGS invites students with an interest and sporting aptitude in Netball, Basketball, Softball, Badminton, Tennis, Floorball, Sailing or Bowling to join us.
As we have limited slots, successful registration is subject to a first-come, first-served basis. If you have further enquiries on registration for Experience TKGS, please approach Mr Yong Tze Woon for assistance.

Direct School Admission to TKGS (for 2016 intake)

This is done in tandem with the opening for applications to TKGS via Direct School Admission (DSA). Please be informed that the DSA - Sec Exercise (for 2015 Sec 1 intake) has commenced since today 11 May and close on Tuesday, 30 June 2015.

For this year's DSA exercise, TKGS will offer DSA places to students with outstanding talent in all our Performing Arts, Sports CCAs well as Debates and MEP (Music Elective Programme)

My girl is gg to P1 next year too and we are looking to form a small group (5 or less) for P1 Chinese Prep Class for a tutor based in Bishan St 12 (5min to interchange and MRT).

Cost is $15 per 90min lesson.

Tutor will be teaching hanyu pinyin, reading, writing, storytelling, simple conversation, vocab and character recognition and pronunciation.

My girl is K2 this year and looking at the P1 CL standards we are a little concerned that she might not excel in her CL next year when she starts.


We are looking for 4-5 others to join her in a small group P1 Chinese prep class to be held in Bishan. Lady tutor is highly experienced and very reasonable rates ($15/90min session, ie $10/hr)

Class is every Friday evening 730-9pm. Will start once the group is formed.

Hi parents, I’m also hoping to do some prep for my DD before she goes P1 next year for CL. I’m trying to form a small group for prep for CL for my girl who is K2, going P1 next year. Hoping to gather the required group esp those who stay in/near Bishan, hence I’m posting in this thread here. My DD currently attends Preschool in TPY.


Class size is 4-5 kids (will start when there are 4 kids)
Friday: 730pm-9pm
Venue: Bishan St 12
Tutor: Singaporean lady tutor with 20 years teaching experience
Fees: $180 for 12 weeks ($15 per 1.5hr lesson)
