My 2 boys are still having their classes even after 2 years, best investment me and hubby have made thus far.

They are also part of the media production with Tay Ping Hui & Yvonne Lim and voted as best kids yoga school in Singapore. Definitely worth giving it a try especially its Dec holidays now! Hurray!! πŸ™‚

She is now almost 5 years. Heard she took up 1-1 yoga classes about 1 year ago. You should find out more from the school's teacher. I think she will be able to explain more. good luck :grphug:

Give yoga a try. My fren’s young daughter with ASD benefited very much from these yoga classes. She learnt to open up more and her muscles tone improved greatly. More expressive as well. I send my 2 boys for yoga classes at the same school as well. Ohmsantih yoga and you can request for teacher warwar.

I will highly recommend Ohmsantih yoga for kid's yoga. My 2 boys have been there for 2 years + now and they have amazing improvements in their attention span and motor skills. Health improvement is apparent as well. Teacher war war is fantastic and she has got amazing ways to manage my 2 boys, who are totally different in characters. No regrets! πŸ™‚

      Enjoying.Can consider.

Hi dear, I am interested in yoga at their Parkway Centre for my hyperactive 5year old at Parkway.
Do you think Yoga will help him calm down, focus and at the same time becomes less angry and irritated all the time?

You can try out kid's yoga class at ohmsantih yoga. My DS with ADHD really likes the teacher's classes and that was the only lesson he did not refuse to attend. He was alot calmer and focused in about half a year and his health improved greatly as well.

I am practising yoga with my 2 ds as well at ohmsantih yoga school. We have alot of fun and often end up laughing or teasing each other. Plus teacher is really cool. She has a way with the adults and also the children to keep all of us motivated.

And I did lose about 4-5kg all in all in about 8 months period. Perhaps its also the change in my lifestyle, less late nights and less snacking πŸ˜›

Actually, Taichi for children is not all that slow moving that we used to see, they do other related activities that has alot of physical workout.

could you please let me know where it exactly is ?[/quote]Explore kid's yoga as well.. It works superb for my 2 boys & my niece :imcool:

      Hi,

Does anyone know of any other places that provide kids' yoga class, preferably in west area? The ohmsantih school has no air con, terribly hot and stuffy even on the not-sunny afternoon that we went.
I actually preferred the non-ac environment as with ac, it is really easy for my boys to catch a cold. I do not think it is stuffy, except maybe we are too used to the commercialised version of exercising must be in an air-con environment πŸ˜‚ I do yoga myself there as well lo :boogie:
I see the effects on my boys and they love the classes, i guess difference in preference bah..
Hopefully, you get one in the west..

Hi, thanks for your reply. Hope the teacher can give me a suitable slot soon. I myself tried yoga recently. I must say it is very tiring when u do the poses, but u feel very \"shiok\" after tt due to the lengthening effect. πŸ™‚

good luck to getting the right slot! I do yoga at the same school as well. Yes feels really good after a good stretch of back, especially shoulders and necks. Desk bound job gives so much problems on the shoulders these days 😒
