For parents who send the kids to HA( high ability) class could you kindly share experience? Would it be overkill? main focus is to score well in school exam

and eventually psle together. My kid is above average but I wonder we should consider HA vs regular class. HA classes is also very limited class And I wonder why. I am not sure if the teacher would explain less in HA assuming they already know a lot and just let them do more practice. My kid is still not truly clear on certain components as the school pace is pretty slow and lack of practice on challenging /tricky questions.

      Ninja foodi Brand

      Small footprint, quality build
Has dehydrator function where temperature can adjust between 60-90c. Can use this to do crispy kale, heat up food without burn or maintain the food on constant sufficiently high temperature at 70 C to prevent bacteria growth

Hi any parents could kindly share the online experience ba physical class. The centre is far from our place and I wonder if online will be as close to the physical class effectiveness.

Hi fuyutsuki! Thank you for your interest in our classes! 🙂

For our P4 Advanced classes, we cover both Paper 1 (composition) and Paper 2 (grammar, synthesis, comprehension, vocab, visual text and so on) on alternate weeks. We also cover oral across two weeks in the term. Our materials for advanced classes are one level higher than the regular classes - which means P4 Advanced classes would cover P5 materials. Lastly, our classes are capped at 12 students to ensure its effectiveness! 🙂

Feel free to reach out to us if you have any other enquiries!
I would like to speak to any customer service directly on phone about the advanced course. Your mail response is truly disappointing with such impersonal tone and no follow up on further inquiry.

My girl handle Otho k by herself since beginning of p2 , atropine is not working and I refuse to increase the dosage for her. You could go for ortho k trial first. Some kids can be phobia on inserting lens into their eyes. alternative is to look for special Myopia controlled glasses. I heard from my trusted optometrist there is a new launch and he is seeing more promising outcome though success rate still not as high as ortho k.

Ahhh thx Sky, looks good but its combined with S&T, which zac has already perfected. So i’d be wasting half of my $300 😢
Hi Zac mum could you share how do you work with your kid on perfecting S&T? I had used your science compilation it is very good. I wonder if you do the same by compiling all the past year paper question. Tips are much appreciated on other component like grammar, compre cloze, vocab.

    • RE: Jiang Education Centre - Discussion

We are with Jiang since P1 at FLS branch. Teacher are experienced and Material is pitched at higher level than school, essay writing is very intensive almost every week since second half of P2. Jiang has made a mistake for not adapting fast enough during covid period with prerecorded lesson which pissed off many parents. Subsequently they managed to use live zoom session. In term of material, WLS 3hr lesson material is more balanced( oral and listening are emphasised more than Jiang, Jiang 3hr preparation for oral is not sufficient, parents need to top up extra class or DIY)more structured as they have a nice template to summarize the open compre answering technique, compo nice wording and oral topic before major exam period. WLS also repeats the same article in school textbook so it seems like a revision lesson on schoolwork on top of enrichment part. On the other hand Jiang material has more enrichment component and take home homework. Teacher wise In Jiang FLS are experienced but usually won’t update parents unless being asked. Fees are cheaper than WLS ( but must pay 20lessons in one shot) so it feels like value for money and we decide to stick there (3 years already) apart from proximity reason.

Hi parents I’m looking for a reliable optician optometrist for ortho-k. Any to recommend? I read about Titus @ bukit timah. Any others to recommend, want to explore a few. TIA!
Titus is recommended by our optometrist and they are not related. He was recommended because my optometrist heard good things through his customers. We tried out Titus and experience is good. My kid myopia doesn’t increase past 2 years and we hope it will maintain this way till my kid pass critical zone which is primary school year. However the cost is not cheap including maintenance but I must say it is worth if you consider eye health is critical for long term.

      Try those published by EPH.

For P6, I find their PSLE past year papers (and mock exam papers) have the most comprehensive & reliable answers.
https://www.openschoolbag.com.sg/product/psle-chinese-examination-paper-package-qr

Is this the one for Chinese mock exam?

How about English? Same from EPH psle mock exam? https://www.openschoolbag.com.sg/product/psle-package-english-examination-papers

How about PhD? Are they great for English, science and maths in term of answer quality as well as closer to psle standard?

      Thank you.
