Hi,

Does anyone here know anything about Chinese Drama in dhs? Or softball? DD is keen to know more about these 2 CCAs, in order to fill in her choices for CCAs. Any info (time commitment etc)ใ€€/advice is much appreciated!

Heard from DD that choir is full and no audition for girls.

Meaning they are not taking in any sec 1 for choir??
Heard that boys can still go...will find out more tomorrow during the briefing and CCA exhibition.

      Hi,

Does your Year 1 kids have many homework? My kid does not have any till now but my hubby's colleague who kid is in another class claim his child do homework till midnight? Wonder is it depend on teacher...?

I also haven't seen my dd doing any homework, yet..

My DD has bits of homework from various subjects, e.g., LA, Science and Chinese. But the homework is manageable and does not need her to work till midnight.

Congrats to all Y5 students for their HCL O level results.

Y1 parents will be pleased to know that DHS % of As is above national standard.
A good news indeed. Thanks for sharing this with us.
May I know what time school dismisses on CNY eve? Thanks.

      Based on experience, it's around 12 to 1pm ๐Ÿ˜„

Oops. According to the notice issued to Year 3's parents, dismissal time on CNY eve is 10.15am. I think it applies to other levels as well.

Sorry for the wrong info
Don't worry. Not a problem at all. We received the letter to parents too and Sec 1 also dismisses at 10.15am ๐Ÿ˜„

      Yup...that's why Yr1 is considered as \" honeymoon period\"...

Most of them can still afford to slack somehow.... ๐Ÿ˜‰
When comes to Yr2, their engine gears will pick up...becos of the fear of end of the yr streaming...

For Y5, emails of homework already start streaming in despite having orientation week...

Yes, homework has started streaming in since last Friday...gently at this point of time for sec 1. ๐Ÿ˜“
Most importantly, still looking forward to going to school, though need to clean classroom ๐Ÿ˜‰ I said ไปฅๅŽๆˆ‘ไปฌ็š„ๅฎถๅŠกๆดปๅฐฑ้ ๅฆณไบ†!

AND still talks nonstop after school about classroom activities and classmates. So much fun... :rahrah:

Yesterday morning was raining, saw student council members holding extra umbrellas at 158 bus stop to give to students who did not have umbrella to walk to school. Nice touch!

Nice indeed. My DD said they also arranged sale of frozen yogurt in the canteen.
