Hi there, I am a returning Singaporean currently residing in Sydney, my son been in the primary school system here which is definitely more relaxed academically than in spore. Children here are also very disciplined but teachers would not say" shut up" or shout at students in general, there are merits to a more relaxed system like this but since we are going back and trying for pei hwa to ballot for phase 2c, I was wondering now if pei hwa would be too much of a culture shock to him and us? Or perhaps we should go for another less challenging school and secure a place like BTPS? Because for that probably no balloting needed. Any thoughts? Thanks

Thks for that, marckfch. I m still in Australia, been here for 3 years. My blog is not updated. 🙂 I have to submit my application 10 days before 27 th to moe, being overseas. The school admin told me 43 slots for 2 c and if I am within 1 km which I am, I stand good chance of taking part in the exercise. However, the 2 b interest scared me, I wonder how the odds will be for 2 c now....does anyone know if there was balloting last year for 2 b as well? Is this a normal trend for this? Phps is so popular.... I guess We'll have to leave it to higher power! Keeping fingers crossed!

Hi there, I am balloting under P2c. May I know if the unsuccessful applicants in P2B get to ballot again in P2c with us? Very anxious now that it is getting closer to the balloting day, holding my breath and keeping fingers crossed!
