For those >2km in P2B, there will be a ballot. 40 applicants for only 14 seats.
Good luck!
i am very anxious too... a Church friend in this... -
What I don’t understand is why must MOE conduct the balloting only on fri? Why can’t they do it tomorrrow? These extra 2 days of waiting must be painfully stressful for parents.
I know it’s easy to say this - w/o knowing the exact level of logistics support required - but won’t it be better for us parents if they conduct the P2B balloting tomorrow in parallel with P2C registration (wed & thurs). Then on fri, conduct P2C balloting.
Just get it over and done with, and end this torture instead of prolonging it. -

Optimistically, more than 1/4 chance of being chosen. For those >2km in P2B, there will be a ballot.
Good luck!

Hi there, I am balloting under P2c. May I know if the unsuccessful applicants in P2B get to ballot again in P2c with us? Very anxious now that it is getting closer to the balloting day, holding my breath and keeping fingers crossed!

They don't get to ballot again, but the PVs get priorities should anyone decide to drop out later on.Sxm10109:

Read your blog and saw that you (used to?) reside in Australia so I'll assume that you've lost touch with the P1 priority process here and will try to be specific.
For this yr registration, all P2B applicants within 2km got into PH unscathed (did I hear loud cheers from Toh Yi Drive?). This fri balloting is for P2B applicants residing > 2km away. Based on last yr's trend, there will most likely be balloting for P2C applicants within 1km of PH. If this happens, those applicants staying more than 1km away will be automatically out (no chance to ballot); which implies that those unsuccessful applicants in the earlier P2B will not be eligible for balloting even if they apply again under P2C (since they're staying > 2km away).
Just to close the loop, let's take the case of MGS. As in previous yrs, there is balloting for applicants < 1km for P2B. In their case, those unsuccessful P2B applicants will still be eligible for balloting in P2C since they are within 1km of sch and we know that balloting for P2C under 1km is definitely on the cards.
That's the gist of it. It's not as complicated as it looks.
