I told my daughter I have no issue if she fails Art. I did too.

I failed my 'O' level Art 😓 , but my child now is taking AEP. It doesn't matter how badly I did, I just hope my child will continue to appreciate the nature of Art. :imcool:

Ha..ha.. stick man can be cute looking too! My boy is bad in Art but worst in Music! He will be tested on rhythm as well as playing the flute. He asked me not to be surprise if he did not pass. I am more concern with his higher Chinese than Art or Music.

DS said he got a B for music. Passed his Art. I would like him to do well for his Art so he can carry on for Sec 3/4. It’s the easiest subject to score without having to study.

Yesterday's exam was Math...lost track of his exam dates...but he can come home early. Busy with younger one's SA. Pulling my hair out coaching her...thought there would be no homework since kids have to revise, but I was so wrong. Next Tue would be his Art exam...Wednesday no school - marking day.

ONLY if you're reasonably talented! I remember after my Sec 2 art exam, I took all my art materials and dumped them in my brother's room with a huge sigh of relief. Art had always been my worst subject and dragged down my average a lot. I would prefer to do almost any other subject than art!

I've been buying a lot of paint this year...much more than those years in primary school :moneyflies: ...then I make noise when I see brushes, palette and cups of water in the sink :stompfeet:

I agree that Art is a difficult subject as an \"O\" level subject. You brought back memories of the 2 years where I had to repeat the same piece of work cos I cannot pass it. I cannot remember if it is only a grading but does not count towards the aggregate score. But it is no longer important.

I will prefer DD to do the 3 Sciences and 2 Maths at Sec 3/4. At least we can still help her.

Please, don’t do art for O levels…history, geography, sciences or A/E math…at least we can help in some way.

I rmb she did some portraits pencil drawings, chinese art and chinese calligraphy.....
Was rather surprised that the school provided them the stuff required like paper and ink for chinese art and calligraphy....
