I am in perimanopause.....realised that menses is heavy and has blood clots too.....seems that some of my friends having these problems too when in perimanopause........i don't seem to have these problems before......   anyone here like this too???????
Actually I am hoping I can hit menopause earlier. Fibroids are fed by the blood flow & will cease to grow or shrink once we hit menopause. Trying to hold out till menopause and avoid the womb removal operation since 3hole surgery is out for my case. -

We need to go through some years before reaching menopause.....one will reach menopause when completely does not have period for one year.......me too heard of fibroids shrinking as we are menopausing......going through menopause is a great challenge too.....it turns my life upside down :evil:Bedokid:

:   mess up everything......[/quote]Yes, I did read that it usually take about 4-10 years for menopause to happen. In between all the different symptoms will appear. Can share how it affects you?

Just to share my experience only cos different person has different symptoms. Besides the usual hot flushes I also have lot of others. I begin to have bloatings lots and lots of winds inside the stomach, bones and muscles aches, body also aches(don’t know if organs inside aching too) skins seem loss of elasticity, loss of energy, don’t feel like doing anything, body just weird feelings(then scared got big problem). I had a whole body checkup last December which was ok but still cannot convince myself.

I do not hv heavy menses but shorter days of menses and lighter flow. Used to be 5 days, then 3 days, now 1.5 days.
Good news is: eversince I started drinking ginger+honey tea on a daily basis, I do not hv backaches or tummyache anymore. -

I had very heavy menses every month, even with the longest 41 cm pad, still can overflow after 2 hours. A lot of clogs and such. I read about Flax seed which can balance hormornes and had been taking the powder form with my daily smoothie for the past month. The heaviness actually ease and i’ve seen much lesser clogs now. Shall continue with this and see if can improve further.
