      Funz:
One question, what kind of paper do you use for the baked version?
      I used Glad Bake.

Finally has time to kapo on what is for dinner, had been so busy last few days! Boys do not want to dine out but requested me to cook their favourite porridge and volunteer to wash the dishes.

Mix Fish cake, beancurd and 腰肉丸 when porridge is almost done. add pinch of pepper! Easy Peasy!

never had ingredients like those in porridge b4. will try next time.
            ps. how was house moving?

House moving is never fun at our age, lots of logistics, packing & unpacking and backache 😞
But whole family falls in love with our new place, hubby says he cannot wait to come home at the end of the day and kids settle in real quick,. ..so it is all WORTH it!

my mum cooks that porridge for me when I was young, now my kids benefit. I still owe you recipe ah...

Plain rice and Bee Hoon Noodles.

Beef stew, with potatoes, carrots, celery, cauliflower and fishball.

Not forgetting the cili padi in sweet soy sauce.

I don't buy for stewing type. I normally buy the tenderest part. Easier for cooking, less veiny.. and easier for the kiddies to eat.. should be tenderloin. I slice thinly so it cooks faster and absorbs flavours as quickly too. Great for stirfry as well for beef guo tiao. Too chewy, hard for everyone in my house to eat. But that's a personal preference.
