PC show considered GSS or not??

Will likely be getting a macbook air or pro. But understand that Apple doesn't attend those pc shows right? anyone knows of any good deals, or are prices definitely fixed?
My friend bought her iMac cheap cheap but on the last day of pc show. Got thrown in additional mouse oso that time. They were in the packing up process then and would rather sell them off than carry them all back.

That said, she and her hubby did some recce around the booths and knew which one is a good bet.

Now that you mentioned it, hubs also looking at getting a MacBook. His dinosaur lappie in its sad dying moments oredi.

Me too! Although it is still early for us, will be doing lotsa shopping for furniture, appliances, lights, etc. during this GSS, on condition that we don't have to take delivery soon. 😆

In fact, some stuff that we need to get already started their sale a couple of weeks ago! 😄
Hmmmm ...

Need to buy a pair of business shoes and a pair of causal shoes.

Maybe a pair of new jeans and some business pants.

Levi is having a promo now.

Is GSS really better deal than the usual sales/promo?

            Thanks.

I do not know. We usually shop during the robinson's exclusive sales for its members.
Any idea when is the exclusive sale for members? We tend to miss it in the past. This time, cannot miss as we want to shop for new mattresses.

True and agree with ya, Funz.

We will be lookin at dining table set and living room furniture as well. In fact, we have already done our leg work and scout the few designs we like and their costs. So come the sale, we will know if their numbers and huge promo placards are just gimmicks.
I half hearted about changing the dining table. It is has been with us for more than 10yrs and still in good condition. Extends to sit up to 10 persons. This will be the 3rd set of dining chairs we will be getting for this table. This time we decided we will get full solid wood chairs. The last 2 sets we had cushioned synthetic leather chairs and they cannot last. Either the cushion sinks in or the leather flakes. Lousy quality.

I looking for dark wood chairs so if you come across any in your scouting, give a shout out ok? :please:

                Same experience with us lor.

Within that same year we got the co to give one for one exchange for the damaged chairs.

We half-hearted also because still can use. Just cover up the table a bit if guests come. 😂 The chairs have been made over a few times over the 10 years. We DIY-ed for some initial years of wear and tear. We sent to industrial co that does upholstery (seats) for buses and sorts for the final one and lasted us till today.

Ok, you shout too if you see first. 😉

Wood chairs as in without cushion at all? Would that be comfortable?

I have been using my dining table for like 13-14 years? The wooden chair with fabric cushion was changed last year after some of them started to have tears. Even then, we keep the chairs, just redo the foam and fabric, think it cost about $500-600 each.

                    Busymom, $500-$600 each chair?

Our upholstery was only like $70+ for all 6 chairs. Extra padding all in and we chose our leather covers from their collection as well. Not plenty to choose from but it served our purpose.

Mebbe your chairs are branded. 😉

No, no.. not branded. You are right, can't be so much, maybe I remember incorrectly. Better let me check again. 😓

                        Can I have your contact?

My current chairs are ok, except that the leather is cracked and flaking. The few upholstery I checked all quoted $100+ per chair to which DH say might as well get new chairs.
