Hi Suz855!
I took the grammer book and asked him some phrasal verb meaning,Then I told him to read a book then u will learn these words naturally,no need to memorise.He said these words are not coming in the story books.Nowadays,his reading amount reduced,he prefer watch TV,computer.He can read before sleep.
Spelling- keep on forgetting.I just feel a big chore to do. -

Answer that teacher said iswrong :
Mrs Lee asked John if he was early for the concert last night.
What should the answer be?

i always thought Neither must use singular -
