Hi I had to chime in with my one cent. If she is significantly slower, you may want to check it out. My son benefited a lot from handwriting therapy. I was very skeptical at first, but now that I see the difference and realised that there was NO way I could have helped him without the specific knowledge the OT has, I wish I had listened to previous therapists and done something earlier.

Hi ammonite, do you still have the therapist contact for the handwriting therapy?

Hi yes, I pm u the contact later.[/quote]
Hi Ammonite, appreciate your sharing of that handwriting therapist
      Thanks

            Hi,

I think it gets me so excited just by reading this post because it’s somewhat in line with what I believe in. I believe the key to succeed is foundation discipline and determination. I agree many, way too many, talents are completely wasted if a child is not tend and care with great effort. Each child deserves a shot, everyone is a gem, yeah?

I came across this motivational author recently, apparently from Singapore, she said: "What you reap is what you sowed, but have we all sowed our seeds at the right places to reach the giants of our lives through our beanstalks?" Amazing, isn’t it? I am passionate about seeing people grow into great heights and here I am, going through this, I just love it!

Anyway, from her Twitter and Facebook, I know that she coaches especially to children and from the responses I have read, I love it first and foremost, her parents love it too. Anyway, cheers to all!

              Hello everyone,

I hire a life coach for my children.... Does anyone else do the same? As it turns out, my children have started to change in different aspects, not perfect of course, but they are much happier and driven now.. Want to share some your experiences? 🕺

You can share your experience with florastreet. She also engaged a life coach. I wonder whether you are florastreet because your sentence construction sounds like hers.

Thank you for the information, but I do not know her and now I do. Good day!

Why don't you share your experience so that for those of us who don't, perhaps we can get some \"enlightenment\" and may perhaps do so? 🙂

Okay, let’s start… We all, have, only but one lifetime so why wait until they are 40 and still be miserable? We grew up knowing nothing but thrown out to the world to figure out the complications of life. Isn’t it better to give them a head start in life? Why let them develop bad habits? Isn’t it better to help them develop powerful ones instead? Children who learn to manage their emotions and interact well with others can be happy from the very beginning and lead a successful and fulfilling life. Give my child the chance of a lifetime, so this is what is all about. All deserve a shot, yes?

Private coaching covers different aspects: health, attitude, life, relationships, school (bullies, ‘groupies’ etc…) life. We, as a family usually have our set of family culture that is pretty much fixed and children like sponges adopt and settle comfortably… Not realizing it, they are in their comfort zone - I am not saying that ours aren’t good, and we love and always PROVIDE, when challenges come, they will most likely retreat. But who can turn challenges away and face them bravely?, I think everyone needs a hand, a hand to get down to work on the crucial foundation on life, kids are easier to nurture and change, as we grow, we become concrete and stubborn.

All in all, it includes attitude, positive thinking, goal settling, focus, determination, appreciation, contentment but strive at the same time… it goes on depending on what you want. I chose value over all because I still believe it’s all about attitude. We don’t have much time to rework our lives don’t you agree? The program works with children ad parents…

What you describe sounds like parenting. Unless the family has more serious issues, surely all this should be done by parents.
