      Hi all.. :imanisland:

Would love to hear from experienced and knowledgable parents on good secondary schools within the north area so that we can make more informed choices with real time information from the ground. 😉

The definition of \"good\" schools may vary between us, but nevertheless would love to hear your take on what makes the school (of your recommendation/knowledge). Not necessarily based on school's COP.

      Thanking you in advance. :please:

Yishun town secondary school is a good school. It’s an autonomous school and the last I heard, it has 100% O levelers who are eligible for JCs. Even the Normal stream students are comparatively well-behaved. There are parents who choose Normal stream just so that their kids can go there.

What exactly is North? Is amk considered ‘north’? Is cck considered ‘north’? Cck has Bt Panjang govt high while amk has quite a few good ones, including Anderson secondary.

North : Woodlands, Admiralty, Yishun, Khatib, Sembawang, AMK

Thanks for feedback on Yishun Town.
In short, YT has better teachers?
                  Which explains well-behaved students?

                    Bt Panjang & CCK, West.

I used to reside in CCK. Many good school choices in west side.

If your DD’s Mother Tongue is Chinese, can consider Chung Cheng High (Yishun)… Heard it is a good school… Have both Express & Normal streams…
