Dyh, wow u so sharp with words :udaman:

Being a parent of PH kids, one has no choice but be subconsciously trained by the school to spot for mistakes in the exam papers. :rotflmao:

        this is really GOOD :udaman:

U looking at the papers now? πŸ˜‚

My boy told us the Chinese compo is marked by 2 teachers. Some pupils' compo get mixed reviews from these 2 teachers. So a 3rd teacher is going to go through the compo.

Think it will be some time before we get the full results back.

Anyway must read between the lines -

            boi lah.

            100% is HOME RUN

            98-99% is Superb

            90-97% very well

            80-89% well

<70% missed by a wide margin

Jen, so in your definition what is 70% to 79%?

            Good.

I got a GOOD news today.

The Normal Chinese paper 2 which missed target by a wide margin, remember?

Turned out the teacher who adds up all the marks on all the pages MISSED out one page of marks 4.5 :spank:

And about 4 to 5 pupils hv the same issue.

              4.5 marks added back :rahrah:

                Thanks for the sharing, dyh.

guess i'll have to get a better ergo bag for her.
Hi, I think I understand your concern. My dd is also petite in size, so I got her a very light school bag, a small water bottle and a very thin story book (for quiet reading purpose). During 1st year, most of the school textbooks and exercise books are given to her class teacher before the school term start. So not to worry, just remind her to walk down the staircase slowly and also not to pack unnecessary stuffs in her school bag.

Ayah don't just go for the lightest school bag, otherwise you'll end up with a plastic bag from Giant. Anyway the difference between the lightest and heaviest bags in the market is about 300g, so it's more important to look at the designs of the bags. Some bags are pure branding exercise. Have you considered the German ergobags http://www.ergobag.de. They're worth looking as they use the same designs of high performance hiking backpacks, with internal lightweight aluminum frames. Don't go for the bags with thick paddings, they're useless.

                        FQW amd bgmum,
Thanks for sharing. At least know ds still in average ramge. He lost most marks in the comphre.
Now, have to accept B2 for both subjects. 😒

That's oredi very gd! Your ds stands a gd chance to go Teamwk9 as long as he maintains his standard. Based on past yrs' statistics, the top P6 class usually gets 260 & above, which means the top sec schs are within reach.

                        FQW,

Tks for the encouragement. But u sure B2 for 2 subjects can get into Teamwork9? :scared:
