      GG

      Take total score * ( 20/17 )

      For this eg, % obtained = 74 * 20/17 = 87 %

      There is no \"bal 15\"

Think Just4Fun is right, should be : Investigative (25 marks) + Part 1 (20) Part 2 (30) over total score of 75, then regross back to 100%.

Dagong , u hv forgotten abt the daily assessment which carries 10 marks. Anyway, my computation is correct as this has been stated in one of school's circulated notice to parents at the start of term 1

Agreed, it's a killer ! Wonder if any remedial for EL ....

Yes. A lot of them score below the passing mark of 28.
So does it means these GEPers can't go for DSA anymore?
Since they need to score average of 80 for the core subjects...?[/quote]Din know that Eng is a killer paper.
I should be thankful with DD's score.
Highest score seems to be 37/40 for her class.

Tao Nan has released the HCL. DD's tuition mate did very well for Compo - 37/40.
Do other schools reveal the scores for Compo ? I thought this is a hush hush matter ? We dun not get any such score at all, even for last yr.

            Hi J4F,

DD has gotten her score for Compo as well but the physical paper will not to be returned for our review.

No worry lah blessmum4, still can dsa as most kids will score > 80% for other core subjects to get ave 80%. For kids who still cannot get ave 80% just need to take GAT. Most if not all will pass GAT. P6 result determine whether need to take GAT not P4/P5.
