Do you know process for 2B? my gals never bring back any form so far from childcare. I checked with friends, some said got form some said no, just brg necessary doc to sch and register. So which's the correct procedure ah? TIA !!

What is your \"relationship\" with the school? As in, are you a PV or GRL or church/clan member?

sorry forgot to mention, is church member. I know my church will issue a letter to paretns prior registration, other that this, any form from MOE etc?

No. When P2B is open for registration, bring the church letter and other supporting documents to the school. The school will issue the registration form to you.

I will be registering my DD this year and hope the more experienced parents can assist in my queries as I am preparing my strategy. I'm one of those who will hopefully be doing the mad rush on 1 August and I have no support coz my husband does not exactly approve of my choice to do the mad rush, since I will be giving up a slot at a good school to go for another one that is not like way better. So I will be doing the withdrawal and re-registration myself. :scared:

1) For withdrawal from school, what is the procedure like? Do I have to fill in any form?
2) For registration, is it possible to get a form beforehand and fill it in first?
3) Will the updated numbers at school be inclusive of those inside the online registration system?

2nd school: I'm within 1-2KM, SC. Last year no balloting (leftover places) but previously in 2009 and I think 2007 there was balloting for 1-2KM. But given the results of last year's registration I wonder if parents might rush for this one this year since last year even PRs made it in.

Are you in Phase 2C for the 2nd school? This yr there are about 80 schools offering online registration for P2C and P2Cs. If your school is on the list, it will be less stressful for you in terms of travelling time. Here's the list of schools, you have to scroll down the page. http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/

There will be admin paperwork to withdraw from 1st school. So far have not heard about getting the form first then submit later for P1 registration. But you could always call the 2nd school to ask. No harm asking.

The most accurate infor is the data fr the school. MOE website only update at the end of each phase and not per day. But if your 2nd school takes part in online registration then I'm not sure if the school tabulate the online data on a daily basis or on the last day of registration of each phase. You can double-chk with the 2nd school

after we successfully register online from 19 jul-1 aug… the result will be out on 6 august… does that mean ballotting starts then ? dunno when to take leave for balloting…

Thank you! Will call up school 2 to ask.... In the meantime I can only pray that there are no traffic jams on 1 August.... School 2 is on the online registration system but I thought because I have to watch numbers down at the school, it is much easier for me to just register the traditional way. Another way I thought of is asking my mum to help me withdraw at school 1 while I standby at school 2, but not sure if that is permitted?
