Dear me li
In the past, I enrolled my son in tuition centres. But I find that group tuition is not effective. One-to-one tuition suits him. His results has improved greatly. I highly recommend my son's tutor. You can contact [email protected]
Best wishes,

I am available to do after school care for boy from P1 to P3. How should I go about it?Should I contact the school? Can anyone advise how to proceed from here?

I have good recommendation. The centre which i engaged not only customised tuition programs for my kids. They teaches good values and mindset. I chanced upon this centre and was recommended by other parents.
The centre provides only the best to kids and the person-in-charge teaches the students personally. My kids have benefited greatly from their programs.
You may pm me if u need their contacts. -
Hi fruitiepie,
Are you talking about after school care or just group tuition?
Thanks! -
We are foreign family. My son is half Brazilian and Korean. The distance from our home to ACSJ is 1.6Km(less than 1.7 Km). Is there any chance for my boy to get in ACSJ? It is such a stressful work to find the school for my son and my family definately wants our boy settle in ACSJ… Any small comment will help a lot!!!

Hi Nikah
Which phase will you be registering your son? If under Phase 2C, balloting usually within 1 km. Check out the link below, you can find the info on ACSJ website

If you are a foreigner, you will be in phase 3.
Chances of getting into popular schools like acsj for foreigners (even if one stays just next o school) is practically nil. -
Thanks for your comment!!!
Then, does transferring from other school to this school happen quite often(I guess even this wouldn't be often though...)
Do you think we can try to transfer while enrolling to the other school??

Hi Nikah
Transferring is a possibility. Most parents appeal with the child's academic results nearer to the end of the academic year. You can submit your child's particulars and results to the school itself. All the best. -
Hi parents,
This is Patrik here. My son just got in here.
I have a question to check with all if you have problems with the schools bus route. I am trying to arrange for my son to be fetched to and fro Ubi area to ACSJ. And none of the buses are willing to do it. I am in a fix and gotta fetch him there in the morning but afternoons will affect my work. I am really living just for him but making the money is just as important. Cross minded.!! =(
Anyone can help and advise? Will appreciate to hear from you all ideas.
