      sweetbaby:
      Hi

Can any current P1 parents help? How many P1 classes do ACSjr have? How about class size? Do the school have an AED Lbs to help student with learning difficulties? Can someone share some info about this? Etc no of AED lbs available, whether there's a good program/room set up. Is there an onsite after school care? Thx u 🙂
There should 9 classes with each about 30+/- students. One of the popular After schoolcare is Kiddie winkie. It has complimentary bus to pick the boys. They have customised adhoc timing to pick the children at a cost. You could contact them for more details. For AED LBS, it is better to call up the school for more information.

May I know if there are parents here whose kids are enrolled in ACS(J) or ACS(P) and have mild autism or Asperger’s syndrome? I will appreciate if you can share if the kids are adjusting well in school and whether the exam pressures are just too much even in ACS(J) or ACS(P). Much appreciated!

            Ang Joanne:
            Hi

My son is born in 2008 and im gonna register him next yr for P1. My qn is my hubby from ACS Junior & we are staying @ Choa Chu Kang. There is transport provided from CCK to ACS Junior but will be expecting early pickup ard 5.45am & back home ard 3pm. SHld i register my son at ACS Jr or a co-ed neighbrhd schl near my home? Its a pity if i dont put my son in ACS unless i shift near the pri schl which i think not at the moment
oh dear .. pick up at 5.45am ... means your son has to be up by 5.25am latest ... and that means wake up, wash up , change and go... you probably have to let him have his breakfast in the bus 😞

if he has breakfast at home, that means you will need to get him out of bed by 5.15am latest (hopefully he is not the dilly dally type). some parents may suggest that he naps in the bus but my experience tells me that they don't and won't nap cos they'd rather talk and play with their friends in the bus 😞
            especially boys!

It's tough for us to give you any advice as you will need to make your own decision but you must consider the above factors. Good Luck!

                Dear me li

In the past, I enrolled my son in tuition centres. But I find that group tuition is not effective. One-to-one tuition suits him. His results has improved greatly. I highly recommend my son's tutor. You can contact [email protected]

                Best wishes,
                young

I have good recommendation. The centre which i engaged not only customised tuition programs for my kids. They teaches good values and mindset. I chanced upon this centre and was recommended by other parents.

The centre provides only the best to kids and the person-in-charge teaches the students personally. My kids have benefited greatly from their programs.

You may pm me if u need their contacts.

                      Hi fruitiepie,

Are you talking about after school care or just group tuition?

                      Thanks!

We are foreign family. My son is half Brazilian and Korean. The distance from our home to ACSJ is 1.6Km(less than 1.7 Km). Is there any chance for my boy to get in ACSJ? It is such a stressful work to find the school for my son and my family definately wants our boy settle in ACSJ… Any small comment will help a lot!!!
