            Maybe go by your child’s interests?


            My 9 year old heartily recommends Jeff Stone’s 5 ancestor series for active boys. It is like watching a shaolin gongfu flick in words. He raced through the books. Available at NLB.

                I would like my p3 ds to read Sherlock Holmes and harry potter too but the moment he saw the size of font and the thickness of the book, he :siam:

                I hv not read them so not sure whether they are too difficult for a p3. Pls advice. Thx.

                    You can try easier books like Hardy Boys, the adventure books by Willard Price, Roman Mysteries by Caroline Lawrence. I can't remember more as my kids are older now. You could take your son to NL and let him browse.

                        My boy started with Charles and the chocolate factory by Ronald Dahl. After that he starts reading the rest from the same author.
