I'm an Hougang mummy too, nice to meet you all

I've a 18 month old son and expecting a girl next month.

I was also looking around for playgroups for my boy.

I signed my son up for Kiddy ABC playgroup which is at Hougang St 51. It's a daily playgroup though, and parents cannot accompany the child after the first 2 days or so, so I'm nervous about whether my son (or I) can take the separation anxiety! Haha

There is also Star Tots playgroup. They are looking to set up a group at Blk 836 Hougang Central. So if anyone is interested, can sign up there. I had put my son's name down but it's been some time and they are still short of kids to form a class.

Kiddy ABC playgroup in Hougang is at Blk 555 Hougang St 51.

Forgot to add- it is $175 per month (including $25 for materials). First payment you have to pay 1 month deposit also and also $35 for 2 sets of "uniform".

From what I know, there are 2 playgroups - Talent Plus and Apple Tree.
If not wrong both are about 2 hours per session daily.
Conducted mostly at void decks RC. But not all RCs have this.

Only selected blocks. I will say not many.
Search for their website and they show you the location that they have in hougang.

For CC, i know there is Little Skool House and Carp Diem.
They are actually nearby my parents place. Hougang Ave 8.

I am looking for playgroup too but i do not want to send her for daily class. Cannot find any in Hougang.

Currently, my daughter attends lesson at My Gym weekly at Tampines. They do have playgroup for 2 times a week minimum but i am working and cannot send her there.

Hi sgmummi, may I know which branch of Little Skool House you refer to that is in Hougang? Cos I couldn’t find that location on their website. Is it a new branch?

Hi mummies, any recommendation for nanny staying around BLK 449 Hougang Ave 10? I need it from Aug-Dec14.


Job scope:
1) pick up K2 son from PAP @BLK 452 4pm Mon-Fri
2) bath, cook & feed him 4-7pm
3) ad-hoc care during school holiday; TBA to pay by hourly or monthly
