Brought the boys out this morning and my tiger_chubs... he was repeating something i said to his elder sisters.. :skeptical:

      Chubs : Mommy..

      Me : Yes darling..

      Chubs : Cannot say ay..

Me : You mean eh? Yes, correct. Cannot call people eh.

      Chubs : It's loud.

Me : You meant to say.. \"It's rude?\" Yes, darling. It's rude to call people eh.

      Chubs : Ok. It's wood. ( ie. rude. )

Me : :rotflmao: ( in my heart )

Chubs : Mommy, we cannot say ay.. ( wagging his pointer left to right ). It's wood ( rude ).

Chubs : Ay is for apple. (nodding confidently)

Ds2 has been practicg weekdays in prep for his grade one and I have been sitting with him, offering my comments that are not so welcomed by him. He got fed up one day…

Ds: mummy, why do you buy a piano for me?
Me: huh? So that you can learn piano. Why?
Ds: so you buy piano is for me to learn piano or for you to listen and keep correcting me all the time?

        Ouch.

I was washing dishes after lunch and ds2 came running to me, all excited to share his findings. ....

Ds: mummy, now I know that we all have sex.
Me: :scared: what? What did you say?
          Ds: we all have sex.
Me feeling :nailbite: but trying to keep calm: where you learn that from?
Ds : see this? On our student pass, there is M sex. My friend is F sex. We all have sex. Now I know. :imanangel:

          😓

Was sweating for you when I read the first 2 lines! Then can't help to laugh out loud for your ds2's innocence. Cute! 😄

DD1 has been having issues with her eating, picky and eats very slowly, especially so after we introduced the menu recommended by the dietician to control her allergy.

She eats what she likes first and lastly those that not to her liking. So, at times towards the second half of her lengthy dinner, she talks to her food cheekily and loud enough for us to hear in bid of getting our \"sympathy\" so that we would \"spare\" her...

Tonight, her conversation with the broccoli...

DD1: Sorry, I will have to eat you...
                Broccoli:....

                DD1: It'd be painful when I chew at you....sorry
                Broccoli:.....

DD1: I'll try not to chew at you for too long or too hard, so you are less pained....
                Broccoli:.....

DD1: Do you understand why do I have to eat you?
                Broccoli:.....

DD1: (sigh)poor thing, you have no idea why I have to eat you, don't you?
                Broccoli:.....

DD1: Sorry, it's because you are too good! (arrmmh! Chew chew chew....)

                Me and DH: :whut:

(We had painstakingly explained to her in great details on how beneficial broccoli is to her diet 😓 )

Ytd at the supermarket with 5 yr old DD:

DD: Mummy, I want to buy this (referring to a big box of honey i-dunno-what cereal)
Me: No, we still have cornflakes at home. and we just bought the small box of cornflakes this morning, remember?
DD: But mummy, we don't have this. And it has vitamins!
Me: Well, if u eat all the fruits I give u, you'll have all the vitamins you need.
DD: But Mummy, this has even more vitamins. It's better than fruits!

                      :slapshead: :slapshead: :slapshead:

Another time, when DD claimed to know everything.......

Me: What's the difference between 42 and 100?
DD: one has two digits and the other has three digits.
Me: (tried my best not to :rotflmao: )
