XXX: I know, the 'exit' sign can be found in the mall.

Wanting to explain that both words can be used at the same place,

Me: Yes, when you are in the mall, you can see the 'exit' sign which helps you to find your way out. 'Exit' is way to go out and 'entrance' is way to go in. So, on the other side of the 'exit' sign, it'll be.... (intending to say 'entrance')

Ds2 has been practicg weekdays in prep for his grade one and I have been sitting with him, offering my comments that are not so welcomed by him. He got fed up one day…

DD1 has been having issues with her eating, picky and eats very slowly, especially so after we introduced the menu recommended by the dietician to control her allergy.


She eats what she likes first and lastly those that not to her liking. So, at times towards the second half of her lengthy dinner, she talks to her food cheekily and loud enough for us to hear in bid of getting our \"sympathy\" so that we would \"spare\" her...

Tonight, her conversation with the broccoli...


DD1: Sorry, I will have to eat you...
Broccoli:....

DD1: It'd be painful when I chew at you....sorry
Broccoli:.....

DD1: I'll try not to chew at you for too long or too hard, so you are less pained....
Broccoli:.....

DD1: Do you understand why do I have to eat you?
Broccoli:.....

DD1: (sigh)poor thing, you have no idea why I have to eat you, don't you?
