Seems like copying model compo is the trend. Is it really effective?

It is really NOT effective, it will only make the kids hate chinese.
A good compo is a compo consist of feeling from kids bottom of their heart, not a compo keep telling reader 风和日丽、凉风习习、倾盆大雨、天空瓦蓝瓦蓝this type of essay.
Too sad, most of our kids lose the ability of writing, only good in 死背。

What is the difference between the 3 hour class and the compo class for P5? By attending the 3 hours class, will it cover enough of compo?

Anyone has the materials to share? Just want to take a look?

Advice needed.

My DS is with tien hsia now. K2. But I found them too slow and the materials are repetitive and doesn’t seem to prepare my son well for P1. I saw the P1 Chinese exam for first term. I got a shock. My son is with them for like 1.5 years at least but doesn’t see significant improvement though.

Am considering to switch him to another centre. either busy bee or Han language centre.

Any comments? which is suitable for K2 preparation to entre P1? One that is not too "chim" with a well balance of difficult materials to challenge my DS but yet not too difficult to make him lose interest. Or difficult materials but delivere in a creative manner to trigger students’ interest.

Any recommendation?Busy bee is popular for their compo it seems.

Hi I am also looking for a creative writing class for P3 and my girlfriend mention the same. Busy Bee at Balmoral. They should be quite good. The only drawback is that it is only on weekend and i try not to have any enrichment over the weekend… Probably got to start having 1.
