      Hi Obisana,

I do not know if you can withdraw online becos I have not registered online before. But if you wish to withdraw on the last day of P2C, 01 Aug 2013, you will have to do it at the school becos the online registration for P2C end on 31 Jul at 4.30pm, a day before the onsite registration for P2C

So can I withdraw at the school on the last day of phase 2c and register at another school? As I will like to check how are my odds. Thanks

Yes. But make sure you allocate enough time to register at the other school. Best if a parent station at each school.

Registration ends at 4.30pm and the staff are strict abt keeping to the timing.

There's no turning back once the registration phase is over.

            Oic. Thanks.

I think I wont wait till the afternoon, I will just register in the morning if the odds are good based on the 2nd day’s tally numbers. Think there might be alot of parents out there like me! hahaha. So no point waiting till the last hour.

There were cases of parents registering in the afternoon. But then there's only so much one can plan

All the best to your child.

                qms:
                Obisana:

Can I also ask WHEN will the school check about home-school distance? Is it done in front of parents during the registration or will it be done later (where the parents can only depend on their accuracy in keying in the data)?

It will be done in front of the parents during registration.

                THANK YOU qms

                  ryes:
You can call up the school, provide them ur blk number n road name and they will be able to check for u on the spot.

The two schs I went, they had a file that has a list of road name n block w the distance

                  Obisana:

                  :thankyou:

Any one can advice me? Thanks

When you fill up the registration form and hand to the school, the school will mark on the check box the distance. You should see right at the bottom of the form, checkbox of < 1km, 1-2 km and >2km.

From there you will know your home school distance

THANK YOU ryes. I will call the school

I'm sure you are not alone in this. It's very common for parents to be undecided about which school to register for in the days leading up to the registration exercise. Those who have faraway alma maters may have to decide between the school next to their house and their own school. It's never an easy decision for the first one, but it gets easier after that 🙂
