My kids don’t let me sleep even on Sundays. They are hyperactive and extremely mischievous. Even if they are in the same room with me sitting quietly one cannot say what they would do the very next moment. This has taken a toll on my health and my sleep has reduced considerably.

Pack their day with lots of physical activities so that they could use up their energy. Bring them to the park to cycle or play badminton. This will able them to sleep early & you could sleep early with them.

That’s a very good advice, when the kids will play or stay engaged in some activities they would get tired at the end of the day. Thanks a lot.

I was told by a nurse that those who snore/ blow air outwards while asleep are actually having only 1/2 the amount of the total sleeping time.

            blockage.
            😞

This reminds me of the joke:

My mum is weird. I have to sleep when she is tired.

I read something about \"earthing\" products.

Anyone tried it before? Any feedbacks?

                Hi,
I am using it. But frankly speaking, I am a insensitive person, so I have not noticed any difference. But there are people who told me that they can sleep better after using it.

I do not have sleep problem, may be thats why I dont see any obvious improvement.

I do not know why these kids do not sleep at nights and then get up too early in the morning. I feel much annoyed at my young one and some times give her a little beating for being mischievous.

Does your daughter sleep a lot in the day? You may want to try cutting back on daytime naps so bedtime can be earlier. Also try making the room darker so the morning light doesn't wake her up too early. Does she sleep in your room? If you can put her in a separate room, it may help her sleep longer as she won't see you when she wakes. When my kids were young, I child-proofed the room and shut the door at night, so when they woke, they would play a while before starting to call me. I would also delay a bit and stretch the time so they got used to waiting about 30 mins or longer from waking before they started calling.

She takes a two hours nap during the day. She can't sleep without me. If i make her sleep in a seperate room, she cries alot. My room's window is covered with curtains and hardly any signlight enters the room. but still she gets fussy and do not sleep.

Some kids may need less sleep, but 2 hrs for a 15mth old sounds OK. If you train her to sleep without your help, she may just fall asleep again when she wakes up instead of waking you up. Expect crying at first but if you are firm she will get used to it. The earlier you do it the better as she will cry less if you do it when she's 3 or 4. My babies slept apart from me from a few mths old - my reasoning was that I was a SAHM and had all day to interact with them, and I needed my rest!

Sounds like it! How often does your child wake up at night? And is it at around the same time every night?

Btw, some children sleep less when they are teething because of the discomfort, or just before hitting a new developmental milestone. So if your child used to sleep well, it may just be a passing phase.
