Hello parents, I have been observing this thread. I am intending to send my child to this school next year. Heard a lot of good reviews about the school.

I have seen the principle's profile. Like what he said in his message. The teachers seem well qualified too. All of them have degrees, several have honours and a few have masters...

The school has a blog ! Interesting..

Hi! Does Palm View Primary has a nurturing and caring environment which develops its students holistically? I am considering to register my son who will be going to P1 next year. Any existing parents can advise? Thanks!

Pomme & lchunleo - I think it would be unfair to compare between schools. I think it is important for parents to know what are their expectations.. and which areas/values they see as important. And from there, read up about the school, do some research about the staff, or even talk to the P/VP himself to see what is the school's mission and direction. We have an open house coming up on 26 July. I believe this will be a good opportunity for you to see for yourself what the school has to offer.

Personally, as a parent whose child is the pioneer batch in Palm View, I am proud to say that I have made the right choice. I am the kind of parent who emphasize greatly on the non-academic aspects (social values, character building, experiential learning, fun-based learning, etc). To me, once these areas are built, the academic results will come naturally. And I'm happy that the principal has maintained these principles right from day 1.

              Hope my 2-cents help. 🙂

                  Hi,

Everytime the school bus aunty gives me a new card while paying the bus fee. Wonder what happened to the old entries and fee payment acknowledgement. Is it me only or someone else also, whose card goes missing everytime with the bus operator! :scratchhead:

Has anyone paid for the CCA additional trips since they implemented the monthly payment instead of weekly? Just received the card last week and asked the operator if I should include the CCA fees with the monthly payment. Operator said no.. only pay the normal monthly fees. Then i asked when do I pay the additional fees?.. he said pay together with the monthly fees.. and asked me to check the school notice. :scratchhead: :scratchhead: :scratchhead:
